Subscribers Vodafone Ukraine helped to cure 104 children

104 children received help and became healthy thanks to a charitable program Vodafone "kindness as a gift". The idea of the project is that the funds that were previously planned to purchase gifts clients on holidays, Vodafone aims at helping children who are in urgent need of complex surgery to correct congenital heart disease, sight restoration, and musculoskeletal system.

Assistance is provided to children whose parents are not able to pay for the surgery yourself, the waiting list for free treatment is too large, and the child may not wait for assistance or to be disabled.

"In the framework of the program "a Good deed as a gift" on average, we annually purchase equipment for the operations of 20 children. After surgery children have the opportunity to live healthy fulfilling lives. More than a year ago in the program are actively involved and our customers by sending accumulated during the use of mobile phones bonuses for implementation of charity project. These funds in 2016 could be treated 7 children," – said the head of Department on public relations of Vodafone Ukraine Viktoria Ruban.

the Program is implemented with the participation of the Kyiv City Heart Center, Clinical eye hospital "Center of eye microsurgery" and the National specialized children's hospital "OKHMATDYT". Help get children from different parts of Ukraine. So, in 2016, along with its subscribers, Vodafone Ukraine helped children from Khmelnytskyi, Volyn, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Odesa, Sumy, Rivne and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The first operation in the framework of the program "a Good deed as a gift" was made in September 2011.
