Each SIM/USIM-card has a validity period. After activation of the card, it makes:
After each subsequent recharging for 5 UAH (except the «Money Transfer» service) a period of validity is extended for 365 days. To check the number validity, use the query *101#
If the numbers are expired, the card can be blocked by the operator.
When Vodafone number is expired, operator can restrict services. Phone number, tariff package, balance and the ability to receive incoming calls are stored for 60 days. After this period, the subscriber service will be completely terminated, but within 30 days the subscriber can restore the number by turning to the operator of the Vodafone Ukraine Service Center.
In addition, the card can be blocked in the absence of outgoing events (calls, SMS, mobile Internet) for more than 180 days.
If at the end of the validity period the card number is registered in the Vodafone network, you get incoming calls but can’t make outgoing ones, to renew the validity period it’s enough to recharge the account in the amount of 5 UAH. Recharging can be made in any way, except the «Money Transfer» service.
If the card is not registered in the network, contact an operator of the Vodafone Ukraine Service Center to clarify the possibility to renew the number:
