Step 1

Buy a starter kit to restore and replace a SIM card on our website

Step 2

After getting your starter kit, to restore and replace the SIM card:

  • call from your mobile number at a special dedicated communication line 222 (toll-free from any Vodafone Ukraine number);
  • provide the operator with a serial number of your new SIM card (numbers indicated on the new starter kit or on the plastic holder under the barcode).

The number will be immediately ported to the new SIM card.

Step 3

Insert a SIM card into the device to use your number successfully.

Note:

  • the current account status, tariff plan and all activated services at the time of SIM card replacement will be transferred to a new SIM card;
  • contacts in the address book saved on the previous SIM card are not restored;
  • to save the contacts, we recommend you to transfer the contacts from your SIM card to your device before their replacement. If necessary, please refer to the manufacturer’s manual for your device.

Step 2

After getting your starter kit to restore and replace the SIM card:

  • 222 (toll-free from any Vodafone Ukraine number) or
  • 0 800 400 222 (toll-free from all networks in Ukraine)

after that:

  • indicate the number you want to restore;
  • provide the operator with an answer to one of the following questions:
    – PUK code (8 digits indicated on the plastic holder of the previous SIM card) or
    – the two numbers you have most frequently called or sent messages to within the last 30 days (except for short numbers and numbers starting from 0800/900…);
  • provide the operator with a serial number of your new SIM card (numbers indicated on the new starter kit or on the plastic holder under the barcode).


Step 3

Insert a SIM card into the device to use your number successfully.
Pay attention!
The number will be transferred to the new SIM card within 60 minutes.

Note:

  • the current account status, tariff plan and all activated services at the time of SIM card replacement will be transferred to a new USIM card;
  • contacts in the address book saved on the previous SIM card are not restored;
  • to save the contacts, we recommend you to backup your address book. If necessary, please refer to the manufacturer’s manual for your device.

Immediate SIM card blocking

To block your SIM card, it is necessary to submit an application.

To do this, call:

  • 222 (toll-free from any Vodafone Ukraine number) or
  • 0 800 400 222 (toll-free from all networks in Ukraine)

To confirm that you are the number holder, please answer one of the following questions:

  • PUK code (8 digits indicated on the plastic holder of the previous SIM card) or
  • the two numbers you have most frequently called or sent messages to within the last 30 days (except for short numbers and numbers starting from 0800/900…);

How do I find my PIN/PUK code?

If you are three times wrong PIN code, most phone requests the PUK code indicated on the plastic holder of Your SIM card.

After the introduction of a PUK-code you need to set a new PIN code and the phone rasplachivaetsya.

If the plastic holder is not preserved, the PUK code to restore one of the following ways:

  • 111 (free with a Vodafone mobile in Ukraine);
  • 0800 400 111 (free from any number in Ukraine);

  • to call the operator by number 111 (free with a Vodafone mobile in Ukraine) or 0 (800) 400 000 (for subscribers of other Ukrainian operators (free from any number in Ukraine);

  • Two numbers  You are often called or sent messages for the last 30 days (except short numbers and numbers that start with 0-800/900…).

How do I register my number?

You can register your number on the physical or legal person one of the following:

To register the numbers you need to call code that will be sent in SMS, so if you contact the store don't forget to take a SIM card.

To register the numbers on the natural person you can provide an original of one of documents and certificate of assignment of an identification number:

  • passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID - a card with a contactless electronic carrier);
  • passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID - card without contactless electronic media);
  • passport of a citizen of Ukraine (in the form of a booklet);
  • passport of a citizen of Ukraine, which contains data on the place of registration in the ARC "Crimea" with a mandatory certificate of registration of a person, moves from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine or the area of the anti-terrorist operation;
  • temporary certificate confirming the identity of a citizen of Ukraine (issued in case of loss of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine); refugee certificate (for refugees).

To register the numbers on the legal entity you need to provide:

  • name Jur. faces:
  • identification code according to EDRPOU:
  • legal address.

Restricting remote SIM replacement

Each SIM / USIM card has an expiration date. After activating the card, it is:

After each subsequent Deposit in the amount of UAH 5 (in addition to services “Money transfer”) validity is extended for 365 days. To check the validity of the numbers, you can use the query: *101#

If the number validity period has expired, the card can be blocked by the operator.

After the completion of the validity of the numbers Vodafone Subscription services will be restricted by the operator. Subscriber number, tariff plan, account balance, and the ability to receive incoming calls continue for 60 days. After this period, the service subscriber number will be stopped completely, but within 30 days, the subscriber can recover the number by contacting the customer service Center.

Also, the card can be blocked in the absence of initial events (calls, SMS, mobile Internet) for more than 180 days.
If at the expiration of number validity period the card is registered in the network of Vodafone, receives incoming calls but to make outbound calls You are unable – to extend the number validity period is sufficient to replenish the account in the amount of 5 UAH. Updating can be produced by any method, except for services “Money transfer”.
If the card is not registered on the network – refer to the operator in customer service center Vodafone Ukraine to clarify the possibility of recovery of such numbers:
111  – free for mobile Vodafone in Ukraine;
0800 400 111  – to subscribers of other Ukrainian operators (free from any number in Ukraine).
