It protects you against incoming calls and SMS from suspicious numbers

If you received a call or SMS from a number that is likely used for spam and scam calls, the call or SMS will be blocked and you’ll be notified via SMS from the Vodafone number.

To receive a call or SMS from such a number, you need to deactivate the Suspicious Number service by dialling *207*0#. The service also protects you when you try to make calls or send SMS to suspicious numbers.

If you try to call a number that is likely to be used for spam or scam, you will hear a voice message before the call is connected. After that, your call will be ended.

If you try to send an SMS to a number that is likely to be used for spam or scam, the SMS will be blocked and you’ll be notified from the Vodafone number.

For us to check whether spam or scam activity has indeed been made from the number, please call 111 and leave a request. After checking, you’ll be notified of the result via SMS.

By activating the service, you agree to allow the operator to analyse the numbers you contact for potential fraudulent activity, including: making scam calls, sending spam or unauthorised interference with the work and/or use of telecommunications networks. The operator uses its own algorithms to identify phone numbers and alphanumeric names that may pose a threat to subscribers, make fraudulent calls, or are likely sources of unsolicited SMS (spam).

If you are roaming, the Operator can protect you from scam or spam activity made from Vodafone Ukraine subscribers who are located in Ukraine. In other cases, due to technical limitations, the Operator does not guarantee the Suspicious Number service works reliably with roaming partners.

Check the service status, dial *207*2# or in the My Vodafone app.

Deactivate the service, dial *207*0# or in the My Vodafone app.

To extend the service: dial *207*1# (if you want to activate the service immediately after topping up, without waiting for the service to renew automatically following a missed top-up date).
