1. Turning off mobile internet while roaming
In case you don't plan to use mobile internet while roaming, you can turn it off. Dial *600*12# or in My Vodafone app (Services – Available services – Roaming – "Forbiddance of mobile internet in roaming" service).
If after disconnecting you want to use the mobile internet in roaming again, dial *600*13# or in My Vodafone app (My services – "Forbiddance of mobile internet in roaming" service – Deactivate). After that, you will need to restart your phone.
To check "Forbiddance of mobile internet in roaming" service, *600*14#
Pay attention, in case of activation "GigaRoaming America", "GigaRoaming" ,"GigaRoaming Max", "GigaRoaming Ultra", "Roaming is available", services "Forbiddance of mobile internet in roaming" service will be disconnected.
2. Deactivate all kinds of redirections in your phone please send the USSD request:
##21# fredirection of all incoming calls
##61# call redirection if no response
##62# redirection in case if the subscriber is unavailable
##67# redirection if phone is busy
If you want to cancel all previously established redirections (conditional and unconditional), you must send the USSD request ##002# or use the phone menu.
3. Deactivate the "Voicemail" service, dial *283*0# or send SMS with 0 to 283, or in My Vodafone app (Services – Available services – Useful services – "Voicemail" – Deactivate).
Deactivate the "Voicemail PLUS" service, dial *284*0# or send SMS with 0 to 284, or in My Vodafone app (Services – Available services – Useful services – "Voicemail PLUS" – Deactivate).
In case you are in the country chosen for roaming and automatically register in the network of a foreign roaming partner, the roaming tariffs of the country where re-registration took place will apply (tariffs of another country).
To avoid such situations, we recommend registering in roaming by yourself in the menu of your phone. To do this, select "Network" – "Network selection" in manual mode.
In case you’re on the border territory of Ukraine and near the base stations of mobile communication operators of another country, the phone can automatically register in a foreign roaming partner network, in such cases roaming tariffs will apply.
To avoid such situations, we recommend registering in Vodafone Ukraine network by yourself in the menu of your phone. To do this, select "Network" – "Network selection" in manual mode.
Subscribers of Vodafone Ukraine Prepaid service is active by default. To use the service, you need to have enough money on your account to use the services in roaming in the host country.
The "International roaming" service is activated automatically when you connecting/migration to Vodafone Red tariff plans for Сontract subscribers Vodafone Red.

Reconnecting International Roaming service can be done in My Vodafone app by connecting to an available Wi-Fi network. (you can enter My Vodafone app using Puk - code of your SIM card).

We advise you to add an additional amount to your account to prevent your number from being disconnected while traveling. Roaming rates are higher than local, so calculate the amount of money, accordingly to the planned amount of conversations and the duration of Your vacation.
1. Check roaming availability in the country
At the top of this page, enter the country name in the search bar.
2. Make sure the “International Roaming” service is activated
For Prepaid customers, roaming is active by default.
Postpaid customers can check activation via *600*16*1# or in the My Vodafone app.
3. If roaming registration doesn’t happen automatically
Switch to manual mode:
Phone menu → Network → Manual registration.
4. Correct number format
When calling or sending SMS while roaming, use the international format:
+380 XX XXX XX XX (+<country code><city/operator code><subscriber number>).
5. Check your balance
Make sure you have enough funds on your account to use roaming services.

Important
Roaming services are provided by partner networks, which reserve the right to block a device from their network if it has been reported stolen or imported illegally.
To restore roaming access, you will need to use another device.
All Vodafone Ukraine subscribers can use international roaming service. Depending on possibilities of the roaming partner's network, roaming services may be different. On some networks, you can receive and send SMS and receive incoming calls. In others, receive and send SMS, receive incoming calls, and make outgoing calls.
To make outgoing calls in roaming you need to dial numbers in international format:
+ or 00 <city code/mobile network code><city or network code><subscriber number>
For example, to call Vodafone subscriber to Ukraine, dial: + 380 50 XXX XX XX, where:

+ or 00 – buttons on the phone keypad;

380 – international code of Ukraine;

Please note that if you stay in roaming for a long time more than 90 days in countries abroad, mobile operators in the host country (roaming partners) may block roaming services use in accordance with the current legislation of this country.
To resume using the services in roaming, you will need to go through a special registration, which may be paid.
To check your account in roaming in all countries and networks, please dial:

in case you are Prepaid subscriber — *101# (free of charge);

in case you are Contract subscriber — *110*10# (free of charge).
To replenish an account in roaming with replenishment voucher dial: *100*secret code of replenishment#. You can buy replenishment vouchers only in Ukraine.
Replenishing an account in roaming using Visa, Visa Electron and MasterCard payment cards of any bank of Ukraine is available on the website or in the My Vodafone app.
Before traveling abroad, please check:

the activated "Mobile internet" service;

sufficient balance on your account;

the APN: internet access point entered in the mobile phone settings;

tariffs and "Mobile internet" availability in visited country;

check if your smartphone and SIM card support 4G (LTE) in roaming: dial *222#
Please note that the smartphone can auto-update the apps installed (for example, weather forecast, online games, etc.) and software without your permission. Kindly remind you: you will be charged at roaming rates applied in the country you are visiting.
To avoid the roaming charges, the following can be deactivated in your smartphone:

automatic software/app update;
-
data transfer.
The information — how to avoid an automatic software/app update in your smartphone, you may find in the manufacturer’s website or in user manual for your smartphone.
PrJSC "VF Ukraine" doesn't take responsibility for software installed on the user equipment by the manufacturer or directly by the user.
Thanks to the contracts with roaming operators operating in 3G/4G networks, PrJSC "VF Ukraine" customers are able to use the data transfer service at higher speeds that allow to get high-speed "Mobile Internet" access. Please note that the high-speed internet consumes more data and hence, therefore the payment for the used data volume will increase.
The "Video Call" service is not available for the PrJSC "VF Ukraine" customers.
Importantly!
When using 4G Internet, it is impossible to turn off data transmission. If you do not plan to use the mobile Internet, we recommend that you change the 4G network to 3G in your phone, and then turn off data transmission.
To use internet in other countries please activate "Mobile intrernet in roaming (other countries) service".

Service management
To activate or deactivate the service, contact the Operator at +380 500 400 111 (free from roaming), 111 (free from the Operator’s mobile number within Ukraine) or at 0 800 400 111 (free from all communication networks of Ukraine).
To check the status of the service, dial *600*15*1#.
The term of "Mobile internet in roaming (other countries)" service: for prepaid subscribers 14 days, for contract subscribers - 30 days from the date of connection.
Useful information:
Roaming services are provided through partner networks. Therefore, during periods of high network load, internet access speed may be limited. Customers will be notified via SMS about the usage of data packages under the "Mobile Internet Roaming (Other Countries)" service.
The data session calculation interval for the "Mobile Internet Roaming (Other Countries)" service is 100 KB. Any incomplete 100 KB units will be counted as full.
international calling is enabled automatically.
Calls from Ukraine to other countries will be available without extra steps.
Please note! If you don’t want to call abroad, you need to deactivate two services: International calls and International roaming.
Outgoing call in Ukraine
You visit Ukraine, chose the network of "VF Ukraine" PRJSC, and would like to call to subscriber with a Ukrainian telephone number — dial the number in an international format (the tariffication corresponds to the local call in Ukraine):
+ <country code> <the area or network code of Ukraine without a prior zero> <phone number>.
For example, to make a call to Odesa – Ukraine, dial: +380 482 ХХХ ХХХ , where:

Outgoing call outside Ukraine — an international call
You came to Ukraine, chose the "VF Ukraine" PRJSC network, and would like to call to subscriber who is outside Ukraine — dial the number in the international format (the tariffication at the same time corresponds to an international call outside Ukraine):
+ <country code> <area/network code> <phone number>.
For example, to call to San-Francisco, dial: +1 415 ХХХ ХХ ХХ, where:

From January 1, 2026, for subscribers abroad on tariffs that include roaming, financial limits apply to mobile internet usage:

€50 (equivalent to UAH 3,000, VAT and Pension Fund fee included);
-
€100 (equivalent to UAH 6,000, VAT and Pension Fund fee included).
How the limits work
The set financial limit applies for a calendar month and includes all mobile internet roaming charges incurred during that period.
When the €50 roaming limit is reached, an SMS warning is sent.
When the €100 roaming limit is reached, an SMS warning is sent and mobile internet access in roaming is temporarily suspended.
If you need to continue using mobile internet, disable the service “Roaming Internet Restriction, Limitation” by dialing *600*17# or in the My Services section of My Vodafone while connected to Wi-Fi.
Please note: if you do not confirm further usage after reaching the €100 limit, you will not be able to use roaming internet until the end of the current month, including preferential services.
This service allows you to opt out of receiving welcome SMS messages that are automatically sent when you cross the border into another country.
How does the standard Info-SMS system work?

When you enter another country, you automatically receive a welcome SMS containing information about roaming rates and contact details of the Embassy of Ukraine in the country you are visiting.
-
If you visit several countries within a 24-hour period, you will receive such an SMS once per day for each country visited.
Disabling welcome SMS
Once this service is activated, you will no longer receive any welcome SMS messages in any country.
The service remains active until you disable it manually.
Re-enabling welcome SMS
To start receiving welcome SMS messages again, simply disable this service.
Immediately after deactivation, you will receive a welcome SMS for the country you are currently in.

Forcibly evacuated Ukrainians are given the opportunity to call the numbers of Ukrainian embassies in neighboring states or states of possible transit for free.

To successfully connect and disconnect services in roaming, you must first disconnect data services in your phone.
The speed of іnternet in roaming will be 8 Kbit/s after using over 2 000 МB per day within using іnternet in more than 100 world"s countries of basic Vodafone tariffs in roaming. Interval of calculation every іnternet session in roaming – 100 Kb. Every incomplete 100 Kb are calculated as complete. The use of packet subscriber MB additionally informed via SMS.
The price of calls is stated for the first second of every minute of call, including each successive second of specified minute within conversation. Call rates are charged per first second of each minute.
The tariffs are specified in UAH including VAT and Pension Fund tax, which is 7,5% of the services cost without VAT, as of 12.01.2023.
