Why is it worth switching to 4G now?

Mobile operators are gradually phasing out 3G coverage to free up the frequencies for newer technologies. If you use a smartphone or SIM card that does not support 4G, this may affect the mobile communications quality and the Internet speed.

To do this, dial *222# on your phone and press the call button - you will get the result via SMS.

If you've checked and your SIM card does not support 4G:

  1. Buy a new SIM card.
    You can order a Power SIM from the online store with free delivery to Nova Poshta, or purchase it at a Vodafone store.

  2. Replace your SIM card for free using one of the following methods:

  • At a Vodafone store.
    A store employee will replace the SIM for you on-site.

  • By calling 222.
    Call from your number, provide the operator with the serial number of the new SIM card, and confirm the replacement using a code sent to you via SMS during the call.

  • In the My Vodafone app.
    Go to Services → Available Services → SIM and Number Operations → SIM Replacement and follow the instructions.

  1. Insert the new SIM card into your phone and wait for the SMS with mobile internet settings.
    If needed, configure the internet manually and enjoy Vodafone 4G.

Important: If you have the "Remote SIM replacement restriction" service activated, the replacement can only be done via a call to 222 (free for Vodafone numbers in Ukraine) or at a Vodafone store.
