The service works reliably when you and the person you are calling are Vodafone customers. Hiding your number on calls to other networks, including landlines, may not always be guaranteed.
-
If your mobile phone supports this feature, you can independently activate or deactivate Caller ID Withhold for all outgoing calls via your phone’s menu (for details, refer to your phone’s user guide).
-
To show your number for a single call when the Caller ID Withhold service is activated, dial the number you’re calling in the following format: *31# +380 xxxxxxxxx, where +380 xxxxxxxxx is the number you’re calling.
-
To hide your number for a single call when the Caller ID Withhold service is activated but deactivated in your phone’s menu, dial the number you’re calling in the following format: #31# +380 xxxxxxxxx, where +380 xxxxxxxxx is the number you’re calling.
-
Your number will be identified when sending an SMS, regardless of any settings.
-
Before turning off the service, make sure your phone is set to Set by Network or Standard Network Settings in the My Caller ID menu (depending on your phone model) to ensure it continues to work properly. Once this setting is applied, you may deactivate the service.
