Fitch Ratings upgrades rating for Vodafone Ukraine to "positive"
Fitch Ratings has revised its rating outlook for Vodafone Ukraine from "stable" to positive ". The agency reaffirmed all Vodafone ratings, including a long-term issuer default rating of “B”.
Vodafone Ukraine has been successfully operating in the international borrowed capital market since 2018. In February 2020, Vodafone Ukraine successfully issued Eurobonds on the foreign stock market - 5-year bonds ("Eurobonds") - in the amount of $ 500 million with a yield of 6.20% .
In August 2021, Vodafone Ukraine and Raiffeisen Bank International AG entered into a derivatives management contract. The international contract, which has become another effective financial instrument for Vodafone, allows the company to hedge currency risks in the international borrowed capital market.
